Field sales CRM with performance tracking, real-time location data, and role-based dashboards
Field sales teams are notoriously hard to manage — they're distributed, mobile, and their performance data is scattered across spreadsheets, phone calls, and memory. Skywind needed a CRM that worked on the ground with reps, not just in the office with managers.
The system also needed to motivate through visibility. Research showed that field reps perform better when they can see how they rank against peers — a leaderboard psychology baked into the product architecture.
I designed both the mobile app (used by field reps) and the web dashboard (used by managers and admins). This required understanding two completely different use contexts — a rep checking in from the street vs. a manager reviewing team analytics from their desk.
I designed the information hierarchy, the data visualisation system, the schedule calendar, and the location tracking map interface.
Rankings were made visible to all reps — not hidden by management. This transparency was intentional: field research showed that public visibility increases performance more than private dashboards.
